If you are coming from a long way away the simplest is to come along the M4, then take the M48 to the Chepstow turn off, up the slip road to Chepstow and turn left at the roundabout onto the A48 for Newport and Caerwent, then.....

 

 

We are about half-way between Newport and Chepstow, just off the A48. As you go down the A48 (from either direction), turn off for Caerwent,Caldicot and the Castle, and then turn again in the middle of the village following the same signs......then Canon Lane is on your left and we are right down at the end of it,...looking out over the meadows and the kettle just boiled....(aah, very nice).
